As the contractor for Flynn’s new U.S. Office Headquarters, Forge successfully brought vision to reality for this premier manufacturer of building envelope and exterior materials.
Construction of a Modern Workspace
The 105,000-square-foot facility features over 25,000 square feet of high-end office space and 3,500 square feet of mezzanine. Expansive glass storefronts and elevated mezzanine levels create an open, modern atmosphere—ideal for collaboration and innovation. One of the project’s most distinctive architectural elements is metal paneling throughout the facility. This attractive finish reflects Flynn’s expertise in building materials and reinforces the brand’s identity in a very tangible way.
Built for Security and Function
Beyond aesthetics, functionality was a core priority. The building integrates a state-of-the-art electronic security system that monitors office and warehouse areas. Ensuring this system aligned seamlessly with the building’s infrastructure required careful coordination among Forge, Flynn’s leadership, and third-party security vendors. The result is a secure, intelligent facility ready for 21st-century business operations.
Delivering on Time and Under Budget
Forge Contractors delivered the project using the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) method. With a total value of $14 million, the project met its original construction budget and returned contingency savings to the owner, underscoring Forge’s commitment to transparency and efficiency. The team completed the work on schedule in August 2022.
Construction Collaboration
With Flynn’s operational goals in mind, early in the construction process, Forge recommended design adjustments. By proactively collaborating with the architect and subcontractors, the team reimagined parts of the layout to deliver both form and function.
